Here in the Manning Valley we have adventures to suit all ages and all levels of experience. Come on your own, with your partner or bring the whole family. Surfing, bike riding, cruising the river, hang gliding or canoeing and kayaking are just some of the exciting activities to be enjoyed in the region. Taree has some of the most accessible State Forests and National Parks - all within easy reach of the beach. Most of the popular forest drives, picnic spots, bushwalks and lookouts can be accessed in a family car under normal conditions.

Taree and the surrounding area offer great scope for family enjoyment with funparks, water slides, movies, shopping, clubs, pubs and much more. An exciting past awaits you as you explore our historic towns and villages and the country and seaside have all the ingredients for that perfect romantic getaway. Take your time. Old Bar is located south-east of Taree, Old Bar is the southern entrance to the Manning River. It boasts an excellent surfing beach, good fishing in the estuary and the surf, and attractive picnic locations beside the beach.

The Manning Entertainment Centre offers world class facilities for the performing arts and is a major performing arts venue on the Mid North Coast. The auditorium has a large proscenium-arched stage and a seating capacity of 505 people.
The Entertainment Centre features an array of touring performances including stage plays, comedy gigs, top musical artists as well as high quality locally produced productions. The auditorium sound and lighting systems are world class and the stage has recently been upgraded with a fly-tower. There is also a 7 foot Yamaha C3 Concert Grand Piano available for performances and rehearsals.

The Taree Aquatic Club is conveniently located in the heart of Taree.
Overlooking the pristine Manning River an ideal locality for relaxing with friends and enjoying the beautiful outlook from the club or balcony.

The Sailos Restaurant boasts an extensive food menu and is open daily days for dinner and lunch. This restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike. It is located within walking distance from All Seasons Country Lodge.
Some of the activities available include bingo on Tuesday and Thursday mornings; live dinner music and Saturday nights and sailing on Saturday afternoons between September and April.

Club Taree (RSL) is located just 2.6 kilometres from the Martin Bridge (across the Manning River) on the main arterial road to Wingham.

The Big Buzz Fun Park is 25 acres of adventure and fun and only 10 Minutes from the motel. It's a great day out for all the family with activities including: Toboggan run, three open waterslides, jumbo slide, toddlers slide, kamikaze slide, BMX and mountain bikes (enclosed footwear required), speed karts (enclosed footwear required), mountain boards, tricycles, shoot for the basket, half tennis court, swimming pool, beach volleyball, trampolines, swings, nine-hole chip and putt short course golf, kiosk and plenty of undercover seating with free gas barbecues with shaded picnic area.
It's a great place for children's parties, social parties and coach tours are welcome.
Children under two years are admitted to the park for free, with use of swimming pool and limited rides, toddler slide, trampoline and swings.
The Open Barn can accommodate 200-250 people and can be hired out for private functions.

Regional Express (Rex) is Australia's largest independent regional airline, flying from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane to Taree and many regional destinations. Rex operates 34 Seat SAAB aircraft on all their schedules; these are attended by a flight attendant, and equipped with onboard catering and toilet facilities. Disabled access is available to all flights. Checked in baggage is limited to 15 kilos.
